Project: Victorian Nursing Chair

This chair used to be covered in a white damask fabric which had become stained but the underlying frame and fixed upholstery were sound so only a new top fabric was added. There was not enough fabric to cover the whole chair or to make self-piping so the back outer fabric was covered in a matching plain grey linen and the trim was made from grey velvet ribbon.
