Project: Baize Door

Reupholstery of a traditional servants’ baize door. The predecessor was green without decorative features, though the underlying door showed decorative nails had been used in the past. A synthetic polyester was used for the top fabric as a choice which should be more resistant to sun damage as well as moth, both of which had badly damaged the last covering.
